How It All Started
Founded in 2016, Raithal Homestay began with a simple vision: to share the authentic culture and natural beauty of our Himalayan village with travelers seeking meaningful experiences away from commercial tourism.
The homestay was established by Mr. Vijay Singh Rana, a native of Raithal who wanted to create sustainable tourism opportunities for his community. Starting with just two rooms in his ancestral home, the project has grown to include multiple cottages while maintaining its intimate, family-run character.
Today, Raithal Homestay not only provides comfortable accommodations but also serves as a gateway to experience local culture, cuisine, and the breathtaking treks that surround our village. We take pride in our role in promoting sustainable tourism that benefits the local community while preserving the pristine environment of Uttarakhand.
